The Via Algarviana is a Great Pedestrian Route (GR13) which connects Alcoutim on the Spainish border to Cabo de São Vicente, with a length of 300km in 14 sections, mostly passing through the Algarve Serra and intended to became part of the Trans-European route, linking to the E4 and E9. The Via Algarviana Team also added additional 4 Connection Trails in November 2013 to connect the coast to the Via Algarviana.
